Of drawing a circle.
Drawing life to life,
To create life.

Believing you to be Other,
Anxiety drove my desire to please.
I failed.
What’s your story?

My longing for completeness,
Led me to you,
Again and again,
Incinerating illusion.

Not what I was looking for.
Not what I had been able to see.

The Mystery is this:
This incineration
Has burned to ash,
All but Myself.

I have heard,
The more a man’s anima awakens,
The more this inner woman
Replaces his outer need.

This feels true.

What is also true is this:
You inhabit me,
Beautifully,
In all your forms.

I see you now
For who you are.
Celebrate you,
And love you the more.
